I have been having fun answering questions at the new Ultimate LA Wedding Guide site (http://www.desertcom.com/wedding, where I am the resident expert for now, until they get swamped and then we will have experts in categories. It is not just a good site for LA area because it will feature services and products that are available mail order. Lots of good advice and information for those planning weddings. Take a look!

Anybody know if any of the wedding magazines (Today’s Bride, etc) have web pages or are otherwise on-line? I found a couple of women’s magazines on-line recently (Cosmo and Glamour), so it occurred to me that these mags might have sites too. If someone out there knows, can you please post the correct URL? I don’t know of magazines on-line but there are plenty of wedding web sites, such as http://prodj.com a site for dj listings all over the U.S. http://weddings-online.com has listings of vendors in all categories http://weddingcentral.com ditto http://bridefair.com ditto and many more the American Federation of Wedding Professionals (I think that’s the name) has http://awfpi.com but I’m not sure of this one and it’s brand new so they’re still under construction. try http://www.bridal-guide.com/ General information on etiquette etc. with questions and answers. or try http://www.usabride.com/index.com They claim to be your nationwide online wedding consultant. There are plenty of other sites, but for some reason I bookmarked these two, and refer back to them often. Brian (&shelly) 4/19/97
